The caregivers we refer can assist you with many things. Below is a list of commonly requested services. It is always best to let your caregiver know what your expectations are so that they can be sure to meet your needs.
With Abby Services, we use our years of experience, as well as your input, to match you with a professional qualified caregiver. We have a long history of referring care providers who not only meet, but exceed, our clients’ expectations.
If desired, we encourage clients to meet their caregiver in advance. You will then have an opportunity to interview and get acquainted with your caregiver to be sure they are a good match (a fee will apply). We can also arrange a phone interview free of charge to give you an opportunity to speak with your caregiver prior to actually receiving services.
Because of the important safeguards our industry has in place, you can be sure the caregiver you are working with has a current Florida License and/or certificate. This insures your caregiver has the necessary training to safely provide assistance for you and your loved ones in your home. All caregivers are also required to maintain an AHCA approved background check in accordance with Florida State Law. In addition to required background screenings, caregivers carry private malpractice insurance. Abby Services also maintains professional liability insurance and bonding to insure that no matter what you are protected.
We strive to match you with the best caregiver available, but ultimately our clients, their families, and loved ones are the best judge. We always take into account a client’s physical needs but also their personality when considering caregivers. Unfortunately there may be circumstances where you do not think we found the perfect caregiver. While it does not happen often, we encourage our clients to evaluate their caregiver for the duration of their appointed time or “shift”. This gives clients enough time to see how your caregiver preforms. It also gives both the client and their caregiver enough time to get to know one another. If for any reason you are not 100% comfortable with your caregiver, we will gladly arrange for another caregiver, no questions asked.
