A lot of folks wonder who they are speaking to when they call Abby Services.

First of all, thank you for thinking of Abby Services.  We are honored that you have considered us to help you meet your private care needs.

You and your loved ones’ comfort, safety, and independence are our top priority. Please let us know if there is any way we can be of assistance.

I would like to take a moment to introduce our team here at Abby Services. We all work very hard to find you the best caregivers at the best price.

This is who you speak to when you call Abby Services.

  • Alyssa Duffy– Alyssa has been with Abby Services since 2011. She helps families & caregivers manage their busy care schedules. If you have any schedule questions or changes she is your best friend and can always provide helpful support. Alyssa also helps to make sure clients’ invoices are accurate and that your caregiver receives your payment for care. If you ever have a billing question she will have the best answer. Update: Alyssa recently moved on in 2021 to further continue and develop her professional career. She will be missed as a part of the Abby Services team.
  • Jaimee Thompson– Jaimee is one of the owners of Abby Services. She is also the beautiful redhead on the Abby Services brochure. Jaimee works together with our community partners to make sure their private care needs are met and educates our community about the services we provide.
  • Scott Strachan– Scott is also one of the owners and Administrator of Abby Services. He has been a CNA providing private care as well as an RN in a variety of hospital settings. He is responsible for operations and serves as a client liaison. His experience as a caregiver and nurse helps to ensure you have the best experience possible.

When you call Abby Services you will not be directed to an answering service.


At Abby Services we do not use an answering service. If you have ever had to deal with an answering service you will definitely see that as a good thing. The best time to call is when we are in the office and have all of our resources available. We are in the office Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.

As we all know, stuff happens. That’s why we are on call 24/7 for emergencies. When you call outside of office hours we let most calls go to voicemail (you wouldn’t believe how many Telemarketers call us).

Please leave a detailed message letting us know how we may help you. Typically if it is a matter that is not urgent we will follow up when we are in the office. If it is a matter requiring immediate attention we will follow up promptly.

Many patients requiring in-home care and support receive that assistance through family caregivers. AARP has a resource for those providing care at home that can help family caregivers.
