How is in-home rehabilitation paid for?
Medicare may cover a number of the skilled services you need when receiving in-home rehab. Unfortunately, Medicare does not typically pay for private caregiver services. However, some VA benefits, Long Term Care Insurance benefits may pay for a private caregiver. Many clients simply choose to pay privately for their private caregiver.

Often there is confusion about what Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Therapy services entail. The following should help clear up some questions:
Physical Therapy:
Physical therapy meets the needs of patients who have a loss of function or independence due to an illness or injury. Physical Therapists help patients regain functional abilities such as walking, improving strength, balance, endurance, and recovering from painful injuries. Comprehensive physical therapy covers:
- Gait training with assistive devices
- Muscle re-education
- Muscle strengthening and coordination

Occupational Therapy:

Home Health Care:
